Parenthood is...

...watching an iguana defecate on the neighbor's kitchen floor and being less bothered by the sight and smell than by the knowledge that the kids will be talking about it nearly constantly for at least the next year and a half.

  4. Funnier yet is just how true that is! Mine are still talking about the baby squirrel that fell out of a tree and subsequently got gnawed on by the neighborhood cats. And yes, we do have pictures, how did your miss that little opportunity!?

  5. If it's funny once, it's funny 100 more times, right? That's my kids' philosophy anyway. I've perfected my fake laugh and head nod for such occasions.

  7. Not as funny as making your kid scoop the poop from her Bearded Dragon habitat - TWICE DAILY!!

even if there is no poop to poop, I make her do it and crack up!
