Important Question: Crackers unite?

I couldn't help but notice this set of promotional posters at a nearby festival this weekend:

Cracker Carnival- for crackers or by crackers?
The question is, are these merely two coincidentally-placed posters noting 1) a carnival and 2) an appearance by the band Cracker, or are the organizers just boldly declaring the primary demographic focus of the festival?

Based on the artwork I'm going to guess the latter.

Why would anyone desire to have a carnival to celebrate the cracker? Especially if it's the unsalted variety.

Maybe if it was a Triscit or a Wheat Thin, but even that's pushing it.

Hmmm.....

I've been to several carnivals, and judging by the average attendees, they are all Cracker Carnivals.

Maybe it's Whitey's response to Freaknik?

I didn't know Cracker (the band) was still around. They had some great songs in the early '90s.
