After hearing suspiciously uproarious laughter coming from the bathroom one evening, my wife and I came upon this scene:
Show of hands, how many of you have had this happen?
Editor's Note: For the record, this is only what was left after the perpetrator and her highly amused accomplice tried desperately to destroy the evidence. Also for the record, we have a deceptively large bathroom sink-- that right there is about a third of a large tube of toothpaste.

I have tried every toothpaste in every type of 'container.' Nothing prevents this. Trust me.
Have you tried supervision? (I don't, but I hear it's somewhat effective)
Which is why we keep the toothpaste on a shelf out of reach of small hands.
I was tending my two-year-old nephew when he somehow imbibed half a bottle of bubble bath in about 30 seconds. He was frothy for the rest of the night, kind of like a washing machine with too much detergent added. Classic family tale now.
Only every time we brush teeth! Mr. B enjoys the spitting too much.
I've given up on this fight...I now buy different color toothpaste just to switch things up a bit. You know red blobs instead of blue. It's how I roll.
Everyday. (I have two hands up right now)
Dude. It does not really improve when they are 9. Or sometimes 14.
Maybe when I start making the little angels re-use that toothpaste...
Mwahaha
My wife has the same problem as your kids.
Sadly, this is what my girls' bathroom sink looks like when they've finished brusing their teeth.
They're 7 and 9, by the way.
I got one of those toothpaste dispensers that you hang on the wall, touch n brush I think it's called. Supposed to eliminate the mess. Only the toothpaste won't come out because it gets dried up in the dispenser and clogs it.
You need to put that shell casing in an evidence bag Dan.
the really big kid in my house does that a lot. :-)
At they didn't eat it, like my kids use to, lol.

I'm scary when I'm mad. This is one of the things that makes me mad. He only did it once.
It's been two week, your house didn't blow up, did it?
What have people at your house been saying?
Any interesting bathroom related news?
